We build partnerships that enhance community life and promote well-being in a variety of ways including sponsorships that have a broad and positive impact.

United Way – Building a Better Community for Us All

Reliance Home Comfort™ is one of hundreds of workplaces across the country that hosts an annual United Way Workplace Campaign.

United Way builds partnerships in the community to tackle social issues such as poverty, lack of affordable housing and domestic violence. Through our annual United Way campaigns, our employees have demonstrated their commitment to building stronger communities. In fact, last year alone our employees raised over $200,000!

Together, we’re building a better community for us all.

Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario’s Restart a Heart, a Life Program

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario has worked to develop relationships with the municipalities across Ontario to develop Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Programs in their communities. Key to these programs is the funding of publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These AEDs make it possible for even non-medical personnel to restore heart rhythm and life.

Beginning in 2010, Reliance Home Comfort™ has committed to funding AEDs in the different communities we serve across Ontario. To date, four of these AEDs have been placed in Ontario cities and we look forward to placing more of these devices over the coming years.
